Newbury Geological Study Group (NGSG)   | How we are run

Listed below is our proposed program for 2011/2012. Our season runs from October to July. There is a £10.00 fee per person per trip payable on the day (children under 16 are free).  £5.00 of this goes towards running the Group, covering expenses like insurance and the web site. The other £5.00 is paid to our geological consultant (Les James) to cover his time and expenses.   All the information is provisional until the detailed email is sent out.  Where additional information is available this can be accessed by clicking on the underlined links.

The Charnwood Forest  trip will include Geology on the Saturday and Sunday.  Members may like to travel on the Friday or can join us at the first site on Saturday morning. Members can if they wish just come for one day. The charge for this trip will be £10.00 for either or both days.
